PulseSafety is committed to protecting the privacy of the agencies and individuals who rely on our platform. We never sell data and keep agency records strictly siloed.
PulseSafety, Inc. is committed to protecting the privacy of the agencies, personnel, and individuals who interact with our platform. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data.
Effective date: April 23, 2025
We don't sell agency data, officer records, or citizen information. Full stop. Our business model is software — not advertising or data brokerage.
We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform and support our agency customers. We never sell personal data.
We collect information that agencies and their authorized personnel provide when configuring or using CommandCORE — including account names, email addresses, and role assignments. We also collect usage data (log entries, session metadata, audit trails) to operate the platform securely and fulfill compliance obligations. We do not collect information from the general public except through our website contact form.
We use collected information solely to: (a) operate and improve the CommandCORE platform; (b) respond to support requests; (c) fulfill our contractual obligations to agency customers; and (d) meet legal and regulatory requirements including those imposed by CJIS Security Policy. We do not use agency or officer data for advertising, analytics resale, or any purpose outside of service delivery.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share data only with: (a) subprocessors who help us deliver the service (hosting, monitoring, backup — all bound by data processing agreements); (b) law enforcement or regulators when legally required; and (c) agency customers exercising their rights to their own data. A current list of subprocessors is available on request.
We retain agency data for the duration of the service agreement plus any retention period required by the agency's applicable law or records schedule. Upon contract termination, agencies may request a complete data export. Data is then securely deleted within 90 days, subject to any legal hold obligations.
We protect information using industry-standard technical and organizational controls: per-tenant database isolation, AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, role-based access control, and immutable audit logging. We are actively pursuing CJIS compliance certification and SOC 2 Type II attestation — and hold ourselves to those standards in the interim. We are not yet CJIS-certified or SOC 2-attested; we will update this policy when certifications are obtained.
Our marketing website (pulsesafetyinc.com) uses minimal cookies — only those necessary for session management and basic analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. The CommandCORE application itself does not use cookies for tracking purposes.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Requests from agency administrators regarding officer or staff records should be submitted through your agency's designated CommandCORE administrator. For all other requests, contact us using the information below.
CommandCORE is a professional law-enforcement platform. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy as our practices evolve or as legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy here and, for material changes, notify agency administrators via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
If you have questions about this policy, want to exercise your data rights, or need to report a concern, contact us directly.
