PulseSafety, Inc. values the privacy and trust of the public safety agencies and authorized users who rely on our platforms. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and handle data in connection with PulseSafety products and services.


1. Scope and Applicability

This Privacy Policy applies to all PulseSafety services, including cloud hosted deployments and agency managed on premises installations, and to all authorized users accessing those services.

PulseSafety provides software services to public safety agencies. PulseSafety does not provide services directly to the general public and does not control agency policies governing their own data.


2. Data Ownership and Control

All data entered into PulseSafety systems remains the exclusive property of the agency that created or uploaded the data.

PulseSafety does not claim ownership of agency data and does not use agency data for marketing, advertising, or commercial resale purposes.


3. Data We Collect

PulseSafety only collects data necessary to provide, secure, and support its services. This may include:

  • User account information such as name, role, and agency issued contact details

  • Authentication data such as usernames, hashed passwords, and access logs

  • Operational data entered by agencies into PulseSafety systems

  • System metadata including timestamps, audit logs, and configuration settings

PulseSafety does not knowingly collect personal data from members of the general public.


4. Use of Data

Data is used solely for the following purposes:

  • Providing and maintaining PulseSafety services

  • Enabling authorized user access and role based permissions

  • System monitoring, auditing, and security logging

  • Customer support and technical assistance

  • Compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements

PulseSafety does not sell, rent, mine, or monetize agency data in any form.


5. Artificial Intelligence and Data Use

PulseSafety does not use agency data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Any future AI assisted features will operate only on agency controlled data and will not result in data being shared across agencies or used for external model training.


6. Data Hosting and Storage

PulseSafety cloud hosted services are operated within the United States using secure, CJIS aligned infrastructure.

Agencies may also deploy PulseSafety on their own servers or infrastructure. In such cases, the agency is responsible for physical security, network security, and infrastructure management.


7. Data Security

PulseSafety implements administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect agency data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Security controls include access controls, encryption, audit logging, and system monitoring consistent with CJIS Security Policy principles.


8. Data Retention and Deletion

Agency data is retained in accordance with the agency’s contractual agreement and retention policies.

Upon termination of service, agencies may request export or deletion of their data in accordance with contractual terms and applicable law.


9. Data Sharing and Disclosure

PulseSafety does not share agency data with third parties except:

  • As required to provide contracted services

  • To comply with legal obligations

  • With agency authorization

Any third party service providers are contractually bound to protect data and use it only for authorized purposes.


10. On Premises Deployments

For on premises installations, PulseSafety software operates within agency controlled environments. PulseSafety does not access agency systems unless explicitly authorized for support purposes.


11. Changes to This Policy

PulseSafety may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated to customers through appropriate channels.
